The weather was fine, and there was an excellent attendance for the concluding clay of the Victoria Racing Club’s autumn meeting at Flemington yesterday. Results:— Autumn Hurdles, of 600' sovs; two miles pnd a half.—Blackford, 10.10, 1: Fashion Star, 11,0, 2; Picador, 9.1, 3. Five lengths; five lengths. Time—4.34 —a course record. Ascotvale Stakes, of 1500 sovs; two-year-olds; six furlongs.—Fidelity, 9.3, 1; Prince Quex (N.Z.), 8.10, 2; Caretta, 8.7, 3. Eight started. Time—l.l3. C. M. Lloyd Stakes, of 750 sovs; weight-for-age; one mile.—Valiant Chief, 8.6, 1; Grand Mogul, 8.6, 2; Garrio, 8.6, 3. Six started. Time—l.37}, Australian Cup Handicap, of 3000 sovs; and trophy valued at 100 sovs; two miles and a quarter.—Amalia, 8.3. 1; Highardo, 7.0, 2; Hot Shot, < 8.4, 3. Nine others started. Cuddle was last.
