SOCIAL CREDIT LEGISLATION

' The first special credit legislation introduced by the Premier, ‘ Mr William Aberhart, called for a rpyal commission to formulate proposals to' increase the purchasing power of the consumer by means of social dividends, compensation discounts or other means, and of payment to the producer of a net price, with a fair commission on the turnover. "The plan makes no- mention of a payment of a 25-dollar a month dividend, as promised in the election campaign.
