AUCKLAND-WHA-NGAREI SECTION

As from today all train between Whangarei and Auckland will be running normally. The late train will run through from Auckland to Whangarei tonight, making the first trip this week, while the train which leaves Whangarei at '3 20 and has for the last five days only gene as far as Waiotira, will proceed on to the city. litsterday the express from Whakapara arrived in Auckland at 6.42, giving passengers who desired to do so, eighteen minutes to connect with the Limited. The northbound express steamed into the Whangarei station an hour and a half late. Train runnings. however, are daily coming closer to schedule, and, with the consolidation of repair work, the position next week will be much better.

Services resumed on the KirikopuniWaiotira branch today, but the OtiriaOkaihau line is closed until further notice.

Towai is still the most northerly point for expresses, but all service cars are making a connection here, and trains are running between Opua and Kawakawa.
