BRITISH ACTION UNDER SANCTIONS (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 30. The "Daily Express" says the Customs officers seized 400 cases of Italian grown lemons, which are alleged to have been landed in England, contrary to the League embargo on Italian goods. This is the first seizure since sanctions were enforced against Italy. Each lemon was wrapped separately in a wrapper, which bore the words, "Produce from Syria," but expert examination revealed that the lemons had been grown in Italy, and not in Syria. The lemons will be sold, the money going to the Crown. The importer, who is an Austrian, will get nothing
