Kidson, director of the meteorological branch of the Department of Science Research, sunny Nelson again heads New Zealand for hours of bright sunshine recorded. When local returns for the past year were presented on January 2, it was found that Nelson had had nearly 50 hours less sunshine than the previous year, and official returns in other districts. have been awaited with considerable interest.
