[Per Press Association. — Copyright ,] PALMERSTON N., This Day. The cricket match between the touring M.C.C. team and a Manawatu XL, set down for yesterday and today, has been cancelled. Hopes are entertained of a meeting with the tourists on March 4 and 5 between the third test match at Auckland and the fourth test at Christchurch. Prior to their proceeding to Hawke's Bay, out of respect to the memory of the late King, the members of the M.C.C. were all wearing black ties.
