Messrs Joseph Naihan are in receipt of a cablegram from their London office, dated January 22:—Butter. 91/-. The market is quiet. Cheese. —White, 52/-; coloured 55/-. Market quiet. The New Zealand Producers’ Coop. Marketing Association have received a cable from London, dated January 22, reading as follows: —Butter and cheese, both steady. Butter: New Zealand, 90/ to 91/; Danish, 103/. Cheese: White, 51/6 to 52/; coloured, 55/ to 56/. NORTHERN WAIROA PRODUCTION C Special to "Northern Advocate.”l DARGAVILLE, This Day. The Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd.’s production figures indicate that the sharp decline in output recorded earlier in the season now has been arrested to some extent. This has been the result mainly of warmer conditions interspersed with heavy rain. Up to November 30, 1935, the towl output for the season was 985 tons, a decrease of 14.8 per cent on that for the same period in 1934. The November make was 418 tons, as compared with 494 tons in the same month of the preceding year, a decrease of 15 per cent. In December the output was 461 tons, as agains* 504 tons manufactured in December, 1934, representing a decline of 5.8 per cent. This brought the output for the son to December 31 to 1658 tons, a a - | crease of 242 tons on the output c ov the same period of the 1934-35 season. The gross value of the product during December was £34,878.
