(To the Editor.) Sir, —A slight mistake found its way into your account of a meeting at Onerahi on January 15. I am credited with suggesting that the Town Board should raise a loan at 3 per cent. My suggestion was that the Town Board should apply to the Government for a £1 for £1 subsidy, then raise a loan of £SOO. The board would then have £IOOO for the various improvements decided upon, for which they would have to pay about £3O per annum for interest and sinking fund. —I am, etc., WILLIAM F. BOUSE,. ;
