WARNING

Young Northlanders are reminded that coins may not be sent through the post other than by Registered Letter. Post Office officials, upon noticing that money is enclosed in an envelope, register it charging the person to whom the letter is addressed with the extra fee. Already we have had to pay sixpence on several badge applications. Accordingly Young Northlanders are advised to send ninepences for badges either in postal notes or stamps. Badges may also be obtained on application at the advertisement counter of the “Northern Advocate” Office.
