ELECTROCUTED

POWER BOARD ENGINEER t Special to “Northern Advocate.”} TE'KUITI, This Day. Mr Francis Rosengrade Harvey, aged 50, engineer to the Wairere Power Board, was electrocuted yesterday afternoon while working in the powerhouse at Wairere Falls. Mr Harvey was taking measurements for the installation of a new stator, for which a shut-down was advertised for Sunday next. He crumpled suddenly and was taken out and resuscitation was resorted to, but he failed to respond. Mr Harvey was holding a two-foot boxwood rule in his hand, and it appears that this made contact, an earth being effected through a guardrail, which he was holding with his other hand.
