BRITISH INCOME TAX YIELD
I British Official Wireless.] (Received 10 a.m.) RUGBY, January 8. ■ Although the period covered in the latest return includes only four days of the present calendar year, they show that there has already been a collection of income tax. the final instalment of which is due now. For the four days the revenue from that source amounts to £4,447,000. The total income tax so far received for the current financial year, which ends on March 31, is £84,323,000 compared with £81,945,000 for the same period in 1934-35.
