Mrs P. Staunton and her daughter Patricia, are visiting Wanganui, where they will spend a few weeks as the guests of their uncle. Mrs A. J. Graham and' family are on holiday at Russell. Messrs. B. and W. Wilson and C. Campbell, of Hokitika, South Island, are visiting friends and relatives in North Auckland, and spent a few days with Mr and Mrs R. C. Wilson. Mrs J. Biggar and family are spending a fortnight on the beach at Whananaki. Mrs A. Goodhue, with her two nieces, are also on holiday at Whananaki. Last week Mr E. H. Codling left for Auckland, where he will spend a few days, and later continue his journey to Te Awamutu. Messrs. W. McDonald and P. Staunton, who have been goldmining in the Coromandel district for some months, are in Kauri for a few days’ holiday. We are pleased to hear that Miss ,1. Torr, who has been an. inmate of the Whangarei Public Hospital for some time, is out again, and has been staying with Miss S. McLennan for a few days. She ' leaves on Wednesday for Kaiwaka, and will be accompanied by her sister, Miss O. Torr, and niece, Miss E. Torr.
