In the cricket match between Southern Punjab and Mr Frank Tarrant’s Australian team, the local side, in response to the visitors’ first innings score of 340 runs, made 163 (Mohdsaeed 80), Alexander took 3 wickets for 38, Oxenham 3 for 40, Nagel 2 for 32, and Mair 2 for 43. Punjab followed on and had lost two wickets for 39 in the second innings, when stumps were drawn.
