CHINESE MINISTER GUNMEN SHOOT HIM DOWN * SHANGHAI CRIME. f United Press Association.-By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright .3 (Received 12.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, December 25. Gunmen who trailed him in a motor car, from which they loosed a volley, assassinated Tang YuJcn, vice-Minister of Communications, as he was entering his home in the French Concession area. He died in hospital. There were eight bullets in his body. The murderers escaped in their car. The crime, which is attributed to students who are dissatisfied with the Government’s attitude towards Japanese aggression, recalled the attempted assassination of Wang Ghing Wei, who was Premier in the previous Ministry. .
