PERSONAL. Mr and Mrs Les Taylor, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs Jos. Fell, have returned to their home in Warkworth. Mrs Randall Yarborough has returned from a short holiday spent in Auckland. Mr Martin Scott, of Hamilton,. is in Kohukohu on business.
Mr and Mrs Pfiel, of Motukaraka, and Mrs M. Clapham, of % Urungaio, have returned from a visit' to Auckland.
Mrs C. A. Watson, of Motukaraka, who has been visiting friends in Auckland, returned home on Wednesday. Water Supply.
After ten months of hard work and boring, Mr . Joe Glavish has at last found water. He 'estimated that a flow would be obtained at 600 feet, and this has proved correct. A good water supply will prove of great benefit to Kohukohu. The local mill of K.D.V. Boxes, Ltd., alone is in urgent need of 8000 gallons per day.
Methodist Concert and Bazaar,
On Monday evening, Motukaraka and Kohukohu members of the Methodist Church, under the direction of the Rev. G. H. Bell, held a most successful bazaar and concert in the Kohukohu Town Hall. , Items were given by. members of both Bible Classes, and two most enjoyable. Songs were sung by Mr Fathers, of Mata Camp. Mr A. C. Yarborough forwarded 1200 I fat shorn hoggets to Hellaby’s, Ltd., during the week-end. Keen interest was shown in their departure by the townsfolk of Kohukohu, as the sheep were shipped and pontooned across the’river to Horeke.
