CHEMIST SHOP DAMAGED

A fire occurred at 7.30 this morning in a wooden block of buildings in Trigg Street, Eltham, owned by Mr Buckle, of Auckland. The brigade confined the flames to a chemist shop, occupied by Mr H. E. Nicholls, which was badly damaged. There was considerable damage to the shop, which was covered in the National Office for £350. The buildings were insured at the Phoenix Office.
