The following is a copy of a letter dated 4th December, 1935, from the secretary of the Community Sunshine Association (Incorp.), received by M C. This association provides summer clothing to each child, shirt or blouse and shorts —khaki for boys and green material for girls. Each child to provide change of underclothing. The cost per child is approximately 10/ per week. All children admitted to the camps are specially selected and examined by medical officers of the Health Department, and must be school age. Six hundred children from families in poor circumstances in the city and suburbs were examined last week and selections were made for the first two camps of the season. In camps held after the school holidays we make provision for the children to attend school in the camps, the Education Department providing teachers.
