THE IRELAND MATCH CHANCES WEIGHED UP
OPPOSED BY STRONG PACK, {United Press Association.-By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright .] (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, December 4. The New 7 Zealanders are not surprised that five Ulstermen are included in the Irish team as they consider the Ulster pack the best yet encountered. However, they are amazed that Morris is preferred to Davey, who was one of the stars of the Ulster game.. The tourists have not seen a better full-back anywhere. Morris must, therefore, be an out-and-out champion, said one of the New Zealanders. The same applies to Morgan, who is included, despite the brilliance of Turner. Morgan, however, is regarded as the star Irish back, and is considered the best scrum half in Gi;eat Britain.
. Ireland looks to its forwards to win the game. Everything depends on the weather.
The New Zealanders admit that on a heavy ground they will be up against things. The Irish forwards are solid, honest scrummagers and fast, able tacklers from the side of the scrum. The inclusion of Oliver, Griffiths and Hadley will make a big difference to the All Blacks. Hadley is looking better than ever.
The special correspondent of the United Press Association thinks the odds are slightly in favour of New Zealand, wet or fine, in view of the New Zealanders’ fine performance at Murrayfield against Scotland.
