GASES OF TYPHOID

SICKNESS AMONG TROOPS (Received 11 a.m.) ROME, October 27. The eminent London-trained physician, Sir Aldo Castellani, who was recently appointed to an important administrative medical post by Signor Mussolini, states that cases of typhoid have occurred among the Italian troops but no deaths are reported. The health of the natives in the occupied zone is also satisfactory. Cases of leprosy have been detected among prisoners of war, but the medical corps Is prepared for this disease. Leprosy is these days is by no means incurable, and its spread can be prevented.
