BOILER EXPLODES

ITALIAN SHIP IN FLAMES. BRITISH NAVY ASSISTS. (Received 10 a.m.) ALEXANDRIA, October 18. While the Italian steamship Ausonia was in the outer harbour, d 'boiler exploded and fire spread to all parts of the ship. British naval picket boats took off passengers and assisted to fight the flames. Three of the crew are missing, and it is feared are dead. Twenty people were injured. The Ausonia continues to blaze furiously.
