DAIRY PAYOUTS
Raglan.—lt has been decided by the Raglan Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd, to pay its suppliers 1/ per lb. for butterfat for cream supplied for buttermaking during -September. The payout last year was 7d per lb., and, although owing to climatic conditions the quality of butterfat received during September was lower than that for the corresponding month last year, the aggregate payment will be very much greater than that made last year.
