WEDDING

RUSSELL^-JACKMAN. The wedding took place at thei Whakapirau Anglican Church on August 30 of Edna, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Jackman, of Marohemo, to Mr Laurence Russell, of Auckland; The Rev. H. Sinclair performed the ceremony. The bride wore a frock of white lace with the customary veil, and coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white spring flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Molly Jackman, cougin of the bride, wore tomato embossed georgette, and carried a sheath Of pink arum lilies. The flower girl, Heather j Jackman, sister of the bride, wore pale j green crepe de ching, with a head cov- J ering of tulle to tone. A bouquet of j daffodils completed a charming effect, j Mr R. Jackman, brother of the bride, was best man. Mrs J. Jackman wore figured marocain, with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of stock. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a reception took place at the Marohemo Hall, where a large crowd gathered in honour of the young couple.
