GOLD !AND SILVER LATEST QUOTATIONS. LONDON, September 2. Fine gold is quoted today at £7 0/3 an ounce, compared with £7 0/1 £ on Saturday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce is 31 5-16 d, same as on August 30. Silver is quoted to 29d an ounce, spot, and 28 7-8 d forward, compared with 29d and 28 13-16 d on Saturday.
