RECIPE FOR NUT CAKES
Cream 3oz. butter and 2oz. sugar, beat in 2 eggs, add i lb. flour sifted with 1 teaspoon baking powder. Add 2oz. chopped walnuts and few drops Stevens’ “Cathedral Brand” Essence of Almonds. Bake 20-30 minutes in greased patty pans. Ask your grocer for Stevens’ “Cathedral Brand,” the essence that gives the delightful flavour.
