KAIKOHE SHOW

CHANGED TO THE SPRING. TO FOLLOW WAIMATE SHOW. Ai the annual meeting of the Kaikohe A. and P. Association held recently, members decided to hold the show in the spring, instead of in the autumn. The show will probably be held on the Wednesday following the Waimate North Show. The decision of the Show Committee will meet with the approval of cattle breeders generally. Stock should also show to better advantage. With the two shows being held at close dates, there should be a bigger inducement for breeders in southern districts to exhibit. The show this year should be the largest to date. Local stock breeders will appreciate the entry of stock from districts more remote and keen competition will take place. Several sheep breeders raise animals which compare favourably with any in New Zealand.
