PERSONAL
Professor T. G. Room, who has been appointed to the chair of mathematics at Sydney University, has arrived at Wellington from England. He will spend a week in New Zealand before proceeding to Sydney. Professor A. M. Brennan. Professor of Pathology at Edinburgh University, who formerly held a similar post at the Otago University, arrived at Wellington from London by the Wairangi on Monday. He f will spend a short period in New Zealand, before leaving for Melbourne to attend the conference of the British Medical Association.
