FOUND HANGED
EX-RAILWAY INSPECTOR. [Per Press Association.—Copyright .l CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A retired railway inspector of permanent ways, Mr David Ferguson Nelson, was found hanging in a shed at his homo yesterday morning. He had been suffering from a nervous breakdown. Mr Nelson accompanied Mr Casey, then Chief Railways engineer. to Napier at the time of the earthquake in February. 1931, and was largely responsible for the restoration of rail services, but the strain involved seriously impaired his health.
