TELEVISION TESTS
TRANSMISSION NEXT YEAR. [British Official Wireless. 1 (Received 0.30 a.m.) RUGBY. August 13. The announcement by the Post Office.regarding television stales that the first tost of transmission is expected to start early next year, and a regular public service will follow as soon as practicable. The technical information necessary for designing television receivers in connection with the proposed transmission will be made public at an early date.
