ALLIANCE WITH JAPAN?
ARMS SUPPLY NEGOTIATION. CONSULATE AT KOBE. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, August 10. The Addis Ababa correspondent of the “Daily Mail” states that an Abyssinian mission, headed by Sudji Berrou, an Ethiopian notable, and accompanied by Mr Hsoji, a Japanese merchant, is going to Kobe to establish an Abyssinian Consulate. . It is reported that the mission will also endeavour to negotiate for a supply of arms, and may even propose some form of military alliance.
