BAY OF ISLANDS TITLE
OKAIHAU WIN HONOUR. The Bay of Islands Rugby champion team is Okaihau. In the final on Saturday, Okaihau defeated Otiria by 8 points to 6. It was a fast, bright game, the champions winning by a free kick and a converted try, to two tries. Ohaeawai was only one point behind the winning side on the championship ladder. The teams which competed were: — Okaihau, Kerikeri, Ohaeawai, Kaikohe, Awarua, Oromahoe, and Otiria.
