TOWN BOARD MEETING. The monthly meeting oi: the Kamo Town Board wan held on Thursday. 3th hist. Those present were Crs. H. Younger, W. Wakclin. W. Markwick, and E. G. Wood. The chairman was absent through sickness, and Cr. H. Younger was appointed' to the chair. Advice was received from the Post-master-General that arrangements wtre in hand for the closing of the Kamo Post Office on Saturday afternoons to be discontinued. An agreement, drawn up by the board's solicitor, between the board and the Kamo Collieries. Ltd., the collieries guaranteeing the- use of power lor six years, was approved, and the common seal of the board altixcd thereto. Outstanding rates, amounting to ,£4l 13 -. are to be handed to the ; board’s solicitor for collection. ; Accounts amounting to £135 wore j passed for payment.
