A resident of Auckland for the past 50 years, Mrs Nina Georgina Russell, of St. Mary’s Road, Ponsonby, is celebrating the 92nd anniversary of her birthday today. On the eve of his departure for the tour of Great Britain, the engagement of Mr H. F. McLean, an All Black forward, to Miss Allah Stanhope, of Auckland, has been announced. Miss Stanhope is a daughter, i of Mrs H. J. Moore, ' formerly of Wellington, and now of Auckland.
