wakeliM s report. The entries of pigs and dairy cattle at the sale held by Walter Walcehn at Kamo yesterday, were greatly affected by the floods in the surrounding districts. Only a lew pens of pigs came forward, while the entry of dairy stock was also small. However, competition was keen throughout and everything changed hands at good prices. Dairy cows and heifers close to profit were again in keen demand, while the more backward sorts showed a decided improvement. Pigs; Medium baconers, £2 12/3; light porkers, £1 4/6 to £1 9/; stores, £1 2/6 to £1 4/6; slips, 17/ to £1 1/; weaners, 10/ to 14/6.

Dairy stock: Best Jersey cows, £4 to £5; Jersey heifers, £2 15/ to £4 5/; cows in milk, £1 10/ to £3 10/; Shorthorn dairy cows, £2 5/ to £3 15/; backward and inferior cows and heifers, £1 to £3; a pen of m.s. yearlings realised 19/, while a pen of f.m. ewes in lamb to Southdown rams sold for 15/.
