PROVINCIAL PRICES. [Special to "Northern Advocate ”3 AUCKLAND, This Day. Only a few fat pigs and . a good yarding of stores came forward at Te Awamutu on Thursday, states Messis Dalgety and Co., Ltd. Light porkers made 26/; Tamworth sows in pig, low condition, 45/ to 70/. A total clearance of stores was effected at prices in advance of recent rates. Best stores, 24/ to 28/; others, ,21/6 to 23/6; slips, 16/ to 22/; best weaners, 15/ to 17/; others, 10/6 to 14/6. There was a small yarding of fat pigs, and an average entry of stores, at Waihou on Thursday, states the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd. Values for all classes remained at about the same as previous sales. Light baconers, 52/ to 56/; porkers, 31/ to 44/; stores, 21/ to 26/; slips, 12/ to 16/6; weaners, 8/6 to 12/6. At Wellsford on Friday a Berkshire sow in pig realised 43/, while large store pigs brought 24/, states the North Auckland Farmers’ Co-opera-tive, Ltd.
