RURAL CREDIT
A meeting of directors of the Bay of Islands Rural Intermediate Credit Association was held, when three applications for loans totalling £725 were dealt with.
To assist borrowers in their farming operations, the association in conjunction with the Rural Intermediate Credit Board, has arranged for the issue of agricultural bulletins prepared by the experts at the Massey Agricultural College. The latest bulletin deals with the management of grazing with a view to securing the greatest benefit both from (he point of view of the feed produced and its nutritive value. The bulletin gives valuable information relating to the results of experiments in different parts of the world, showing the advantages and limitations of what is commonly called rotational grazing and suggests methods of carrying this out in practice.
