TOMORROW’S TEST. INDIA V. NEW ZEALAND. [Special to ”Northern Advocate ”J AUCKLAND,, This Day. Hockey enthusiasts and the sporting public generally should be treated to another spectacular exposition of the stick game when the All India team meet the New Zealand representatives at Eden Park tomorrow at 3 p.m., in the third and final test match of the tour. It is certainly a sporting gesture on the part of the Auckland Rugby. Union to allow the Hockey Association the sole use of No. ground at Eden Park for the whole day. The Hockey Association, for its part, has, with the co-operation of the Auckland Harriers Sub-Commit-tee and the Technical College, arranged a rather novel curtain-raiser, which should keep the waiting enthusiasts interested .until the big match begins. The harriers are turning on several races and there will also be a javelin throwing competition, whilst the Technical College students will give a gymnastic and jiu-jitsu display. The gymnasts have one or two in their number who are clever at “clowning,” and those who attended the cricket carnival at Alexandra Park last summer will fe- ■ member their wonderful performance. It should all go with a great “snap.” Those who saw the match against Auckland last Saturday, when the local team dominated play in the first part of the game only to fade out in the second spoil, will need little persuasion to go out again this week. The dazzling brilliance of the visitors proved an eye-opener to all who witnessed the match, and with a sti’onger team in the field against them tomorrow there will be thrills galore. As mentioned earlier in the week, All India has never been beaten on the hockey field, and the question forj which enthusiasts are anxiously awaiting the answer is: “Can New Zealand do the trick tomorrow?”

NEW ZEALAND TEAM. [Special to “Northern Advocate.”'} AUCKLAND, This Day. The New Zealand hockey team fox’ the final test tomorrow is:—Moore. Ewan, Rodgers, W. J. Bowden. McLeod. Spiers, M. Bowden, Bay, Watts, Turbott and Wellborne.
