DOOMED MAHENO
SALVAGE INTENTION, EVERYTHING OF VALUE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. It is reported that the Japanese captain of the Oonah intends to salvage everything of value from the stranded Maheno. The latter now has a list of 124 degrees towai’d the sea at Fraser Island, the shore anchors having been dropped in order to keep her upright. The Oonah is anchored off Sandy ; Cape.
