The order sets aside an alliance which the young heir, who is now serving as one of the secretaries of the Mayor of New York. Mr F. H. La Guardia, contracted with Contcsse Marie Ann von Wurbrand Stuppach, of Vienna. The Court stigmatised the union as a “plot or scheme concocted in a foreign country by members of the so-called nobility or titled class, who have been rendered desperate by the needs engendered by their poverty and a desire to obtain moans to continue their luxurious existence by any method except honest ellort.
