{ WHANGAREI FIGURES MORE MARRIAGES THIS YEAR Births showed a slight decrease in Whangarei .last month, while deaths numbered two more. Marriages appreciated by a similar figure. Births for the month of June numbered 26, a decline of four on the corresponding month last year. The total aggregate for this year to date is 142, as compared with 170 for the same period last year. Deaths were 12. as against 10 for the same space of time last year. The total for this year is 43, against 48 last : year. There were 10 marriages as compared with 8 last year. The year’s tally is 62, ( and in 1934, up to June 30, it was I 49.
