BANKER RETIRING. iPer Press Association. — Copyright.! WELLINGTON. This Day. Mr H. B. Gordon, assistant general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, will retire at the end of this month. He entered the service of the bank at the Auckland branch in 1890. After periods of' service at Auckland, Dunedin and Christchurch, Mr Gordon was transferred to the Wellington branch and subsequently attached to the head office, Wellington. Mr Gordon was born at Onehunga in 1874, his father being Major W. Gordon. He was educated at the Auckland Grammar School.
