COUNTRY WEEK HOCKEY
WEATHER CONDITIONS WORSE WHANGAREI BEAT WAIPA. BIG WIN AGAINST COLLEGIATE. [Special to “Northern Advocate.”'] AUCKLAND, This Day. The conditions were worse than ever for the third day’s play yesterday at Remuera in the Country Week hockey tournament. The programme included a re-play between Auckland and Paeroa ladies in the forenoon.
The tournament proper terminates tomorrow, unless further re-plays are necessitated, and on Saturday the week will be finalised with a series of representative engagements. Complete results of Wednesday’s play are as follows: — White Horse Cup.
