HIGH-PRICED MERINOS

AT SYDNEY SALE. RAM FETCHES 800 GUINEAS. (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 26. At the stud sheep sales today the prices paid for merinos showed a distinct improvement. An extra special 2^-year-old merino ram from Mr Charles Mills’ stud at Hay, realised 800 guineas. Two others from the same stud brought 490 and 373 guineas respectively. Mr Donald Grant of Timaru, New Zealand, paid 75 guineas for a merino ram from Mr B. S. Falkiner’s stud at Wallen.
