Two companies camfe int olegal conflict in the Supreme Court in Wellington yesterday and, before the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, Kemball Theatres, Ltd., claimed from the British Filling Stations, Ltd., £276 5. The claim, which was denied by defendant company, was for secretarial and accountancy work alleged to have been performed. Judgment was given for defendant, the-Chief Justice stating that in his opinion plaintiff had not established a claim. His Honour said he did not think that any contract, expressed or implied, had been made out against the defendant company to' make any payment to plaintiff company on account of services pex'formed.
