3rd JUNE: KING’S BIRTHDAY. The following hours will be observed on Monday, 3rd June (King’s Birthday):— Postal branch: Closed in all branches. Mails for Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North, Franktcn Junction and Wanganui, will close at 8 a.m. (A clearance of street receivers will be made at 7 a.m.). Correspondence usually delivered by postmen may be obtained at the Post Office counter, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Ist June. The Telegraph Branch will be closed all day. The Telephone Exchange will be open continuously.
