FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE
IMPORTATION RISKS. RIGID RESTRICTION URGED. [Per Press Association. — Copyright.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The executive of the Canterbury Sheepowners’ Union carried unanimously the following resolution: “That in view of the serious situation which has developed with outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease in England, this executive is of opinion that the restrictions on the importations of stock from Britain should be more rigidly enforced.”
