WIRELESS COMPULSORY
ABOARD INTERSTATE SHIPS. (Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Cabinet has decided that all steamships engaged in interstate trade must be equipped with wireless apparatus for emergency use. On vessels of 750 to 1600 tons the installation must be in charge of a certified wireless operator. ’
