WEANERS IMPROVE. At Putaruru on Friday there was a full yarding of pigs, with weaners predominating, reports the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company, Ltd. Competition for grown pigs was good, and the market showed a slight improvement on late sales. Weaner pigs also improved in price. Porkers realised 40//to 45/; store pigs, 20/ to 25/; slips, 12/6 to 16/; best weaners, 9/ to 11/6; smaller, 5/ to 7/; aged breeding sows, 18/ to 30/.
