At the Ascot races today Epigram ran unplaced in the Ascot Thousand, and Palm Queen and Queen Helen in the Ascot Handicap. The chief events resulted:— Ascot Handicap, of 300 sovs; one mile and a quarter and 40 yards.— Eastern Chief, 8.5 (Breasley), 1; Glide Away, 9.0 (Skidmore), and Glass, (Powell), dead heat, 2. Nine started, Including Palm Queen and Queen Helen. Half a length. Time 1 —2.8:;.'
