HOLMES—On December 21, 1934, at his late residence, “Ripple,” Whangarei, James Edmund Holmes, in his 78th year. Funeral leaves “Ripple” for Onerahi at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday.
No flowers by special request. Anyone desiring to send such a token of respect is desired to send a donation to Mr. J. Reid, and the money will be devoted to a charity in which Mr. Holmes was interested. 737
