ORURU

A CAPABLE CHAIRMAN. For what has been accomplished in the building of a new dairy factory, the Oruru people recognise fully the importance of the work done by Mr G.. Hoskin, the chairman of directors, who, at the opening ceremony, seemed so anxious to bestow praise upon others. When the company was faced with the building of a new factory, or, as an alternative, joining up with another company, Mr Hoskin placed the whole position faithfully and impartially before the suppliers, taking care that no advantage or disadvantage in either proposition was overlooked. From the time the suppliers decided to build, a heavy responsibility fell upon Mr Hoskin, and he handled , with the assistance of his co-directors, the financial and other arrangements with great success.
